According to the Federal Trade Commission, “Made in the USA” means that “all or virtually. all” the product has been made in America. That is, all significant parts, processing and labor. that go into the product must be of U.S. origin.

Non Abrasive 
Non–Abrasive Cleaners will usually come in the form of a liquid. The liquid form can be used at full strength or diluted depending on the manufacturer’s suggestion. Non–abrasive can also have disinfecting properties with the aim to kill bacteria on surfaces.

Non Acidic 
The human body is close to neutral at 7.4, which means neutral or acid free chemicals are a minimal risk for skin irritation. Highly acidic cleaning products, such as those with a pH below 2, can prove to be corrosive and potentially damage materials that they come into direct contact with. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a highly alkaline cleaner, with a pH of 12 or above, could also be corrosive and burn materials. Concerns over exceedingly high and very low ph cleaners include the health of the user and those who use the building. In addition to being corrosive, these cleaners can cause toxic fumes.
